AYR Aviation had been contracted by Air Charter Services (ACS) to recover a Sikorsky Sea King helicopter in Norway. With only a couple of days of lead time, we deployed a Mi-26 helicopter (the largest helicopter in the world) to Norway. Our very experienced crew completed the complicated sling-load operation without any problem, and in the shortest possible time.
